Terms of use

Heeey (heeey.click) is a free collaborative online whiteboard run by Carlos Santos. By using Heeey you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

1. Minimum age

You must be 16 or older to create an account. Heeey is not directed at children. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, the account and its data will be deleted. Parents or guardians can request deletion by emailing contato@heeey.click.

2. Your account and your boards

You sign in with a link sent to your email and are responsible for what happens in your account. You can also use Heeey as a guest, without an account; in that case your boards are tied to your browser.

Every board has a link. Anyone with the link can see the board and, if the access level is “can edit”, change it. Don't put information on shared boards that you don't want other people with the link to see.

3. Your content

What you create and upload (drawings, text, images) remains yours. You only give us the permission needed to store, process and show that content to you and to the people you share it with, for the sole purpose of running the service. You confirm that you have the rights to what you upload.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Heeey to:

• publish illegal content, child sexual abuse material, hate speech, or content that violates other people's rights;
• upload copyrighted images or text without permission;
• distribute malware, run phishing or harvest other people's data;
• overload the service, get around limits or try to access data without permission, including through the API and the MCP server.

We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.

5. Copyright: how to request removal

If you believe content on Heeey infringes your copyright, send the following to contato@heeey.click:

• the protected work and the link to the board where it appears;
• your name, email and address;
• a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized and that the information is accurate, under penalty of law;
• your signature (physical or electronic) or that of your representative.

We remove the reported content and notify the person responsible, who can send a counter-notice to the same email. Accounts with repeated infringements are terminated. Notices under the DMCA (United States) can also be sent to this address.

6. Free service, provided “as is”

Heeey is offered free of charge, with no guarantee of continuous availability or of being error-free. Keep copies of anything important: you can export your boards at any time. We may change or shut down the service; if we shut it down, we'll give at least 30 days' notice so you can export your boards.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or loss of data arising from the use of, or inability to use, Heeey, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event, if any. Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law guarantees you and that cannot be limited by contract, such as those under Brazil's Consumer Protection Code (Código de Defesa do Consumidor).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. If you are a consumer, you may bring any claim in the courts where you live.

9. Changes and contact
